UI Software Engineer

We are developing cutting edge products to improve patient outcomes using health analytic techniques. You will be required to design, develop and test User Interfaces for a variety of health analytic applications. This will involve creating browser and mobile web applications using HTML/CSS and JavaScript using appropriate frameworks. You must be able to work independently and have a good eye for context appropriate, aesthetic User Interface design. Knowledge of the health care industry would be an advantage.

Working in a small team, you’ll need to be a good communicator and able to liaise directly with stakeholders to work on various UI prototypes. You may also work across other teams in the organisation where required.

We’re looking for people with

  • A degree in software engineering or computer science
  • Strong interface design skills with the ability to translate complex information into validated, easy to use responsive web interfaces
  • A minimum of three years’ experience working within full lifecycle software teams with a UI focus
  • Strong Javascript (ES6), HTML & CSS programming and workflow (Sass, Webpack etc) experience, using React and/or AngularJS frameworks in conjuction with other Open Source projects
  • The ability to design, implement and test (Jasmine or similar) JavaScript based software components
  • Experience working in Health Analytics an advantage
  • The ability to work in an Agile environment
  • An enviable portfolio of previous front end development projects

This role will be a 12 month contract and is located in Adelaide (Kent Town).
